Dr. Sulaiman Kawooya is the program manager and a seasoned ICT safety and security professional with over 10 years of expertise in IT safety and security. He is skilled in lobbying, mass media communication, research, training, community outreach, and facilitating workshops.
His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Makerere University, complemented by a Post-graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management from the same institution. He has also received specialized training in Human Subject Research from John Hopkins University, USA.
Having completed a comprehensive Management Development Training program at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Kawooya excels in program design, monitoring and evaluation, strategy development, organizational performance, mentorship, and coaching.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Kawooya serves as a member of the Buganda ICT Commission committee and actively contributes as a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) member of Masaka Secondary School.
